About
Jeppe High School for Girls is a semi-governmental girls school in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The school wanted to update their existing website, providing a better user experience and updated content.
The Problem
Due to neglect and lack of maintenance, the school’s existing website had fallen into disrepair and was inaccessible.
Additionally, the previous hosting providers had stopped support for the deprecated version of PHP the site was running on, and was about to delete the site.
The Solution
Conrad-Media managed to secure a copy of the website’s file system and database, and brought this to life in an obsolete staging environment.
Incrementally updating server settings, WordPress core versions, plugins, and themes, we were able to bring the system up to date and complete a custom redesign of the main website pages.
